Yes, it's settled! I will indeed have a place to live!
Furthermore, it'll be in the building that I mentioned liking, a few entries back -- Option #1 -- plus, I checked my money situation and I think I can afford to do the slightly larger efficiency, downstairs. I'm happy about it! It's the largest efficiency I've found anywhere, and it has its own little deck off the back!
The Further Pros
* As stated, the deck! Deck! It's little, but big enough for a couple of chairs, or me and my easel and painting stuff. Woohoo!
* Built-in shelves, mmm. The neat kind that are open on both sides, serving as a divider for part of the room. I *think* there may have been some others that I'm forgetting, too. We shall see.
* Bigger than all my other options.
* Full-size fridge, separate door for the freezer.
* Much easier to move into (no narrow staircase with a turn in it)
* Little backyard... good for me, and for training a kitty to use a leash.
Because, I forgot to mention, they DID give me the go-ahead on a cat! Huzzah! I should scan pictures... I took some "baby photos" of my kitty-to-be. However, the camera had a snit fit, and insisted upon focusing on the grass in Every Single Shot, instead of on my kitten. Wah! But, the pics aren't so blurry that you can't make them out. And one picture of Julie holding him came out mahvelously.
So happy! I like my new apartment! I really look forward to getting situated in it.

Of course, if he won't use a leash, he won't. C'est la vie!
